The Westchester County Arts Leadership Association (WCALA) is comprised of district and building level directors, supervisors, and coordinators of music, dance, visual arts, and theater programs in school systems across the county. Our goal is to provide relevant and rigorous professional development opportunities for members while coordinating with various, content specific, affliates. 

The guiding purposes of the Association are to:

• Provide professional development opportunities for its members in Music, Art, Theater, and Dance in Westchester County, New York.

• Promote high standards of administrative leadership in the area of Arts Education

• Provide support for arts policy makers and share communication on state and county arts issues.

• Share best practices in the areas of instructional strategies, program development, and arts administration.

• Work in harmony with State and National organizations for Arts Education in an effort to advance appropriate and worthwhile endeavors and to promote arts advocacy in Westchester County.
